Meet Dr. Renato de Luna
A Love of Healthy, Beautiful Smiles
As a pediatric dentist, I have the unique opportunity to have a positive effect on children’s self-esteem and expand their self-confidence, while helping them develop a trust in dental care.
I was initially drawn to the artistic and functional qualities of dentistry. I liked the thought of creating something (a tooth) and improving a child’s life with my art. Children and teens want healthy teeth that also look beautiful.
I particularly like working with children who are reluctant about seeing the dentist. Maybe they’ve heard stories from their classmates, or maybe they’re timid in unfamiliar surroundings.
Each child is unique, and so are his or her concerns. Along with my staff, I strive to get to know each child and make every one feel comfortable and safe at our office. We want to know each one as a person, and encourage children to become interested in caring for their oral and body health. It’s my goal to “graduate” my patients to a general dentist with a positive attitude about their oral health and dental care.

Each year I participate in many hours of continuing education. This ensures I am current on changes and developments in the field, especially new technologies, materials, and treatments. Personal Life
Most of my childhood was spent on a ranch in Southern California. I fed goats, pigs, chickens, cows, and horses in the early hours before going to school. I like the country, but am currently enjoying the great mix of urban and outdoor activities in the Portland / Vancouver metro area.
